We receive and store any information you enter on our web site or give us in any other way. The information we ask from you when ordering on-line like your name, address, phone number, credit card number and email address is used only to complete the order, to confirm the order and to confirm shipment of the order. We do not otherwise utilize your personal information in any way and never share or sell your e-mail address or other personal information to other companies. No information is collected about you unless you apply for registration or purchase products from us.

A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Cookies store information about your use of a particular Web site or service and are typically used to make services more convenient and personalized. Most cookies are "session cookies", which are automatically deleted whenever you leave a Web site, although some cookies remain on your computer until your remove them. SeaSalt Superstore uses cookies to estimate the number of visitors to our Web site, and to measure general traffic patterns. Cookies allow us to determine which pages of our Web site are visited, what is downloaded, the internet provider's domain name and the country that our customers come from. However, none of this is associated with you as an individual. It is measured only in aggregate. Cookies do not capture your individual email address or any private information about you. Your browser controls how cookies are used and can be set to not allow them.

How SeaSalt Superstore Shares Information About Customers

We will securely transmit your credit card data to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. Other than card processors, the only other agents that have any need to know any information about our customers are our shipping partners. Again, in this case we only provide UPS and USPS with enough information to deliver your package and email you delivery confirmation. They do not retain this data for future use. With respect to law enforcement, we may be obliged to release personal information if we believe such release is appropriate to comply with the law, or protect the rights, property, or safety of SeaSalt Superstore, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with organizations that fight fraud and identity theft.

SeaSalt Superstore will only send e-mails to you if you ask for them and you can easily unsubscribe at any time you do so choose. We have a strict company policy not to flood people with e-mail correspondence, but simply give you periodic information so you can stay up to date on what we are offering. SeaSalt Superstore also uses your e-mail address to confirm your order and to confirm shipment of your order and to respond to any inquiries you make on-line. All e-mails you receive will provide you with information as to how to get off the e-mail mailing list if you so desire.

Security of Sensitive Information

SeaSalt SuperStore works to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We reveal only a fragment of your credit card number when confirming an order. Information stored in our customer database is protected using state-of-the-art security methods.

Protecting Children

SeaSalt SuperStore takes special care to protect the safety and privacy of children. Our web sites are general audience sites. We do not permit anyone under the age of 13 to register with us. We also do not send email correspondence to anyone who tells us that they are under the age of 13 without their parent's consent.

Children under the age of 13 should always ask their parents or guardians for permission before providing any personal information to anyone online. We urge parents and guardians to participate in their children's online activities and use parental control or other web filtering technology to supervise children's access to the web.

If SeaSalt SuperStore decided to make material changes to our privacy policy, in whole or in part, we will inform you by posting a notice on our web site. However, we will never materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective of customer information collected in the past without the consent of affected customers.
